Reflections on 21 Years and What's Next
After an amazing 21-year journey, my tenure at Target is coming to a close. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have grown with such a fantastic company. My career there evolved from foundational infrastructure and security to eventually leading the architecture and development of complex, data-driven platforms.
What I'll cherish most aren't just the technical challenges we solved—like building the technology Showback tools to expose cost, technical debt, and lifecycle management capabilities—but the incredible people I worked with. I was fortunate to be part of a brilliant, supportive team, with a culture of mentorship and engineering excellence that made coming to work a privilege.
The Next Chapter
As I close this chapter, I'm excited to find my next opportunity. I am looking for a Principal-level role where I can help shape a technical roadmap, solve complex problems, and contribute to another outstanding team.
While I am ideally looking for a remote position, I am open to hybrid/onsite roles near Floyd, VA, or relocating for the right opportunity.
I'm looking forward to what's next. If my background and experience resonate with your team's goals, I would love to connect.
